In the next few weeks you may notice some changes in the numbers and types of ants that you are seeing. Here are some things you may notice

1. LOTS more ants! Believe it or not, this is a good thing. It means that the colony is being forced to send out more members because some of them are not coming back. This makes the queen send out ants to replace them in finding food, and more ants to look for their missing members. What you must remember is that there are thousands of ants in a colony. Initially it may seem like there are more ants, but in reality there are just more ants visible. You want this to happen because this means more ants will cross the insecticide barrier and contaminate themselves and the queen.
2. Larger Ants! You may notice there are different sizes as some ants which previously worked as soldiers or nurses may be sent out as foragers or scouting parties. These ants range in size with soldiers being larger than the usual foragers. Don’t worry our insecticide kills all sizes and types of ants including carpenter ants
3. Dead Ants! You may notice intially that dead ants are appearing in different areas of your house. Although you may have the urge to remove the dead ants, you need to leave them where they are. Ants often try to bring their dead comrades home which contaminates themselves as well.

Once your home or office has been treated it can take between 4-6 weeks for a bait and spray program to effectively eliminate ants and 8 weeks for a bait-only program to eliminate ants. No case is the same, each infestation may or may not have these scenarios occur. Often a customer will notice 1 of the 3. In some cases all of the three will be noticable. Either way, the chemical is actively working to eliminate your ant infestation. If you are still noticing a problem after 8 weeks, please feel free to give us a call back.

  • Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say that you’ve done an excellent job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely quickly for me on Safari. Outstanding Blog!

I don’t have time to go through it all at the moment but I have saved it and also added your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read much more. Please do keep up the fantastic work.
